Fax Services
The Dolton Public Library District provides faxing services to patrons for a fee.

Faxing will be performed by library staff, while the customer waits for transmittal to be completed.

Customers must sign a fax responsibility form.
- The library will provide a half page cover sheet for directional purposes at no charge.
Outgoing Faxes
- Outgoing faxes to locations within the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii will cost $1.00 for the first (1st) page and $.50 for each additional page.

Outgoing faxes to international locations will cost $5.00 for each page.

Payment for outgoing faxes must be made prior to transmittal.

Outgoing documents must be single-sided on white typing/copier grade paper.

If necessary, copiers are available for public use at $.10 per copy and staff is available to provide assistance.
Incoming Faxes

Incoming faxes will be $1.00 for the first (1st) page including cover sheet and $.50 for each additional page.

Customers will be be notified of incoming faxes and must pay prior to the release of materials.

Customers will be charged for receipt of personally addressed faxes regardless of content.

Incoming faxes are kept strictly confidential and are not reviewed by staff. Also to maintain personal privacy, the information from incoming faxes will not be read over the phone.

Materials will be discarded if they are not picked up within seven (7) days of customer notification.
